Job Description

R.D. Michaels is a commercial general contractor located in central Florida seeking an experienced project manager with all of the following experience and capabilities:

• Reading, interpreting and thoroughly understanding Contract Documents
• Analyzing subcontractor quotations and vendor pricing
• Writing of subcontractor scopes and purchase orders
• Establishing and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project
• Processing submittals and maintain a submittal log
• Processing RFI‘s and maintaining RFI log
• Reviewing, analyzing, distributing and pricing Contract Document changes
• Thoroughly analyzing subcontractor/vendor change order pricing
• Preparing, submitting and validating change order request pricing
• Preparing for and leading subcontractor/vendor project meetings
• Preparing for and leading Owner and consultant project meetings
• Preparing and maintaining Meeting Minutes
• Review subcontractor/vendor billings
• Preparing and submitting project close-out documents

Job Requirements
All considered applicants must be experienced with the following:

• Submitting and processing building permits
• Managing commercial ground-up and remodel projects
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
• Evaluating and maintaining job costs
• Effective communications and problem solving
• Easily adapting to and working within existing management procedures and systems to be used
for project management
